This Figurative painting of tattoo artist Luis who does only “dark” tattoos. He says that if a customer wants a tattoo of a rose he won’t do it and sends them away to other tattoo artists. Most of the tattoos you see on his body he did himself, including the ones that are on his face. Also he is a very good artist, beautiful paintings in oils using the old technique of thin layers and glazes. The paintings are all on the dark side. I came into his tattoo shop one time and he was working on a nice piece of a lizard clutching Tinker Bill in it’s fore claws. Beautiful technique an painting but a little dark for me. Nothing my 3 year old granddaughter would like
