I do not
provide much information about the artist because I assume you
may already know something about them. If you don't then this is a
good way to introduce yourself to the their work
American artist Joseph Cornell (1903–1972) has been celebrated
internationally for his boxes, collages, and films since the 1930s. This
artist is fabulous! I love his work. There is some site requirements but
this interactive site is really great. Two interactive media features
provide a closer look into the enchanting realm of Joseph Cornell. The
Magical Worlds of Joseph Cornell, created by the Voyager Foundation and
available on gallery kiosks, includes a wealth of video and audio
interviews, demonstrations of Cornell’s kinetic box works in motion, and
excerpts from the artist’s rarely seen films.

19 minute experimental film created by the artist Joseph Cornell, who cut and
re-edited the Hollywood film "East of Borneo" into one of America's most famous
surrealist short films.
